We do not store your bank account numbers, routing numbers, or credit card numbers. All financial data is handled by our third-party payment providers under their respective terms and privacy policies.
You retain ownership of any content you post on the Service (listings, messages, reviews, images). By posting content, you grant Vicinity.World a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Vicinity.World Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VICINITY.WORLD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any service listed by users on the platform. Any transaction between users is at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VICINITY.WORLD INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Vicinity.World, if any, during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vicinity.World Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting admin@vicinity.world. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Illinois.
